What's a 'magic link'?

A magic link is a sign-in URL we email you. Clicking it signs you into your LimitLock account — no password, no app to install, no extra steps.

To use it:

1. Visit limitlock.app/sign-in.
2. Click "Email me a sign-in link instead — no password needed".
3. Type your email.
4. Check your inbox, click the link.

Why it's useful for anglers:

You don't have to set up a password the first time you sign up for a tournament. You don't have to remember a password later. Same email = same account on every device — your phone, your laptop, your iPad — automatically.

Caveats:

• The link works for one hour after we send it.
• The link only works on the same device where you started the sign-in. If you opened limitlock.app on your phone and the email arrives on your laptop, copy the link to your phone (or just start the flow on the laptop instead).
• We never see your email password — Firebase Authentication handles all of this; we just send the link.
