Voice check-in for cash side pots

Tap the mic, say boat number and pot name, the cell flips. No tapping cells while your hands are wet.

On the side-pots cash check-in page, tap the mic button at the top to start voice mode. Speak naturally:

"Boat 3 collected for big bass" "Boat 7 all pots" "Boat 12 uncollected for goon" "Boat 15 paid the threshold pot"

The page resolves the boat number to the angler on your roster, finds the matching pot in your tournament's configured pot list, and toggles the cell. A confirmation line shows what got applied — review it before moving on.

What works:

  • Boat number identification — most reliable. "Boat 3", "boat number 3", "boat #3".
  • Angler name fallback — if you forget the boat number, "Bob Smith collected for big bass" works too. If the name is ambiguous (two Bobs), the page asks you to tap manually.
  • Pot name shorthand — "big bass" matches your "Big Bass" pot. "goon" matches "Goon Fish". Best-prefix-then-substring matching against your configured pot names.
  • All pots — "boat 7 all pots" or "boat 7 every pot" toggles every pot the angler is opted into. Saves time when an angler hands over $60 for three pots at once.
  • Uncollect — "uncollected", "remove", "clear", "undo" flip a checkbox back off.

Limitations: background dock noise can throw off recognition. Hold the phone close. The browser sends audio to Google's speech servers (Chrome) or processes on-device (Safari) — same privacy story as voice weigh-in. Requires Chrome, Edge, or Safari; Firefox doesn't support the Web Speech API yet.
