Registration

What's the difference between boater, co-angler, and 'either'?

Boaters bring the boat. Co-anglers fish from the back. Either = flexible.

For team-format tournaments, anglers register as one of three roles:

  • Boater — owns or is bringing the boat. Drives. Picks the spots.
  • Co-angler — fishes from the back of someone else's boat. Doesn't need to own a boat.
  • Either — flexible. Lets the organizer assign you to whichever role pairs you best.

If you don't have a boat, register as co-angler or either. The organizer will pair you with a boater after registration closes. You'll see your boat number and partner once they're assigned.

Payouts are typically split 50/50 between boater and co-angler, but the organizer can change this per-tournament (60/40, 70/30, etc.).
